French Mani

Trying to get back into nail art after the passing of my father.  First attempt was an easy french tip manicure with a sticker on the accent nail.  I used a wonderful polish from Sally Hansen New Lengths Ceramics 4601-19 Porcelain Ivory as my base and then Sally Hansen Nearly Nude 1 Natural White for my french tip.  I found a bunch of very old stickers in my "pretty drawer" in the bathroom.  You know the stuff I mean girls (hot oil treatments, biore skin cleansing strips, teeth whiteners) and I was ever so exited to find them.  They are very pretty as seen in the pictures below.  Although my top coat wasn't thick enough and a petal or two fell off the flower when it snagged on something... :-(

I bought a few packs of nail polish at the dollar store this weekend and went a little crazy with the colours and patterns.  I hope the bright colours continue to keep me cheerful.
