Avon Opal Top Coat

I bought a pretty sparkle nail polish top coat (actually you should put a top coat over this for 2 reasons: 1) it will leave a smooth finish and 2) it's already chipping away and I just did it 2 days ago - bear in mind I am really hard on my nails at work).
So I painted all my nails colours I thought would look nice with the sparkle top coat and some I just wanted to see how they looked together.  Black got the most votes from my friends although I really liked the navy blue myself.  I thought they'd look nice as fully coloured in a base and then put the sparkles on as a french tip.  Another time.  I ran out of fingers to swatch.
Also we got a new camera so Chris is more willing to take pictures of my nail art :-)

Robin Moses Daisies

I`ve been wanting to do flowers for a while and finally got around to doing daisies.  Robin Moses just came out with a new tutorial so I used that as my guide here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9db0OfSjMPo
I have most of my nails done with the closest green I have to mint which is from Misslyn and my accent nail done in Royal Flush Blush by OPI.  Having got my base down I then made the little white petals of the daisies.  My nails were just cut down (they were getting really long but many of them had broken) so I didn`t have much space to work with. My daisies don`t really have the spaces for the middles that Robin`s does but they still look good.  I used a green center for my accent nail and Revlon Top Speed 850 Metallic as the middle for my other nails.  This is the shiniest sparkliest silver I have.  I love it!  Here are the pictures.
After a week of the nails I thought the next time I want daisies I might put them on a dark blue background.  The white and silver would look nice with that as a background since I don't have a dark mint colour in my polish collection.
