Colour Block Nails

I had my nails done in Avon Golden Wine N237 for my Chinese new year nails, but no way I'd be painting chinese characters on my dominant hand so I went for something a bit simpler.  I'm fairly certain this style of nail design is called colour block nails.  So after the Crimson dried I put on the gold with my Quo by Orly Glittering Gold striping brush and finally painted in the black with Wet n Wild Wild Shine 424A Black Creme.  In hind sight I probably should have put the black on first and then gone over in gold.  The gold is a bit thicker so it was hard to get the black to touch it.  There are places where the red shows through... don't look too closely :-)
